A short walkthrough of the full flow: transcribe your audio, load a folder of clips, and export a timed Final Cut Pro XML sequence.

  1. 1. Drop your audio file

    Pick the narration or VO you want captioned. MatchCut FCP transcribes it on-device and breaks it into caption lines with start and end timestamps.

  2. 2. Load your media folder

    Choose the folder of clips to align. Name them in order with zero-padded numbers so they sort predictably.

  3. 3. Generate the sequence

    MatchCut FCP locks each clip to its caption block and writes a Final Cut Pro XML file. Import it in Final Cut Pro and you are done.
